Our
environment
At Kiddy British Nursery we believe that children need opportunities to socialize, independence and to make their choices. Children need opportunities to choose what resources to play with. In our indoor environments, this will mean that resources are put out at child height on low shelves or in baskets. An indoor enabling environment also recognizes when children need more challenges and provides for this in their play.
Outdoor play environment
Children need opportunities to socialise and play together outdoors. This might be achieved through the use of cosy areas where children can talk together, pathways where children can follow each other and also areas such as large sand pits where children can play alongside each other.
Infant room: (2 months-12 months)
Our nursery has a separate infant room with a sleeping corner. Which are situated in a far, quiet corner of the premises. The infant room is headed by a nurse who is a qualified paediatric first Aid as well. Babies daily sleeping, food and toileting routine will be recorded and passed on to parents. We provide separate beddings and covers for each baby.
